Most people will believe that a professional created these crafts. In fact, a professional did create these crafts and is simply giving you instructions to create them yourself. As an added benefit, you will realize how wonderful the sense of accomplishment and pride of making your own wedding crafts is. Perhaps more importantly, you will realize how easy it is to create various wedding crafts. Hopefully, this will lead to further experiments and will give you the confidence to try more.
Rose & Lace
Supplies
-bottle of wedding bubbles
- miniature roses or rosebuds (silk or real)
- 1/2 inch lace (mine happened to have pearl beading on the lace itself)
Instructions:
Measure the bottom of your bottle of bubbles and cut your lace slightly longer than this. Glue your lace to the bottom of the bottle of bubbles (see picture for a clear illustration of this). Snip a rose (real or silk) and glue to the top of the bottle of bubbles.
Rose & Ribbon
Supplies:
- bottle of wedding bubbles
- miniature roses or rosebuds (silk or real)
- satin ribbon (I used two ribbons here)
Instructions:
Cut ribbon to 12 inches for the same length bow that is shown in the picture. Tie around the neck of the bottle and knot. Snip a rose (real or silk) and glue to the top of the bottle of bubbles.
You can't get much simpler than this! Of course, it is up to you whether you want to add to this craft or not. Many crafts can be customized to fit the taste of the couple. A small tuft of tulle under the rose, a pearl spray and piece of baby's breath tied into the ribbon or specialized laces and ribbons can be used to add a slightly different look to these craft projects. In other words, follow the basic directions and add your own elements to the craft for an entirely different look. I used real roses in these crafts (be sure to create items a day or two before the wedding then refrigerate if you choose this option), but silk looks great as well. Let your imagination lead the way and you will surely come up with more ideas than are presented here.
Best Wishes,
